Tułen Charter School is a free, public elementary charter school open to all children entering Grades K-4 in the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District.
Admissions Process & Lottery Rules
As an Alaska public charter school, Tułen Charter School has no tuition fees. Enrollment is open to any student residing within the Kenai Peninsula Borough.
Submit Intent to Enroll
Complete our online form below or pick up a paper application at our front office.
Public Lottery Drawing
If applications exceed open grade capacity, a public lottery is conducted per KPBSD policy. Sibling preference applies.
Registration & Verification
Accepted families complete KPBSD registration, submit immunization/birth certificate records, and attend orientation.
Age Requirements:
Kindergarten: Must be 5 years old on or before September 1 of the school year.
Grade 1: Must be 6 years old on or before September 1.
